Putter Named Editor Of RoadBike Magazine

Stamford, CT “” Magazine publisher TAM Communications today named Eric Putter as editor of RoadBike, the best selling, all-metric motorcycle magazine. 

 Putter, formerly an editor at Cycle World, Primedia and Hi-Torque Publications, also has a long list of freelance credits, which include most major street bike, dirt bike and ATV publications in the United States. 

In addition to his magazine experience, Putter, 42, has gained a broad perspective on the powersports industry in other roles during his 23-year career. Most recently, he served as marketing manager for Lockhart Phillips USA. He’s also been an account executive for Kawasaki’s public-relations agency, written copy for Yamaha advertising campaigns and worked at one of America’s first Honda dealerships. 

Born and raised in New York, Putter is enthusiastic about bringing two decades of west-coast experience to this Connecticut-based magazine. “This is an exciting move for me, one I’ve been preparing for throughout my career,” said Putter. “I’ve worked with some of the best editors, writers, photographers and business people in the motorcycle industry. As the editor of RoadBike, I’ll bring this real-world education and experience to the RoadBike editorial team. Our goal is to create the visually interesting, entertaining, informative and authoritative magazine our readers deserve.”
