Former racer and racing industry veteran Garry Gallagher died November 13, in Austin, Texas, according to a post made by his daughter on social media.

Gallagher is best known as a Technical Customer Service and Racing Representative for EBC Brakes USA for many, many years.

After leaving EBC Brakes USA, he worked as a Parts Manager at a powersports dealership in the Seattle, Washington, area called Adventure Motorsports. After retiring from working at the dealership he had moved to Austin, Texas to live with his daughter Mikaela Novak.

He is survived by another daughter, Sydney Gallagher.

The following was posted by Mikaela Novak on Gallagher’s Facebook page:

1956-2022
On Sunday morning a great man, loyal friend, and adoring daddy passed through the veil and heaven gained an angel with a serious need for speed and contagious sense of positivity and positive throttle.
I am grateful and proud to have been in his presence and at his side when he passed at my husband and I’s home here in Austin, TX.
While we thought we would have more time together to initiate him as a new Texan, we are immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to open our home and to have had my Daddy as a daily part of our lives.
Garry Gallagher touched the lives and spirits of many, and brightened every room, track, and shop he set foot in.
We ask you take a moment today to lift up his name in prayer and celebrate his life and continued journey through eternal glory. Godspeed.
His wishes to have his ashes spread at all the tracks he raced on will be the greatest honor of my life. For those of you who have info that can help me in preparing this epic trip, please reach out to me via his FB messenger or (205) 540-3918.
Please also reach out if you have interest in any celebration memorials – Garry Gallagher has circles of friends far and wide and I want to encourage all celebrations!!
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. (Psalm 5:11)
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
We love you Daddy & Godspeed,
Mikaela & Sydney
