New Location for 2008 CCS presented by MotoSport.com Race of Champions Awards Ceremony Once again the Championship Cup Series, presented by MotoSport.com, will host the 2008 Race of Champions Awards Ceremony on Sunday October 19th at 7:00pm. This annual event is free to all racers, family, friends and crew members, but this year the celebration has moved the from the Daytona 500 Club to the Indigo Lakes Golf Club’s Banquet Facility During the planning stages for this year’s event the Indigo Lakes Club made it known they would like to see the return of this prestigious event to their facility and the offer was too good to refuse. Not only have they provided more food for us than we’ve had in recent years, but they have offered more reasonable prices on the domestic beers, wines and well drinks necessary for a long night of bench racing! They are located behind the Holiday Inn Express on International Speedway Blvd and have plenty of room for your trucks and trailers so you don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to park. The Cocktail hour will start at 7:00pm with Hors D’oeuvers and the aforementioned reasonably priced domestic beers, wines and well drinks. This year’s appetizers include large amounts of Swedish Meatballs, Spicy Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tenders and Cantonese Egg Rolls along with fresh fruit and cheeses to help you celebrate your championships. So all those racers who will take part in the 25th Annual ROC are encouraged to bring their family, friends and crew with you to receive your awards or just to cheer on your friends as they get their accolades. The 2008 ROC Awards Ceremony will begin at 8:00pm with Griff Allen and Jen D presenting the CCS National Championship Awards.
