Racer Tyler McDonald, who broke a heel when he crashed while running in the top 10 in the Daytona 200, hopes to return to racing during the ASRA race weekend at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas April 26-27. Failing that, third-generation-racer McDonald hopes to compete in CMRA races at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit May 10-11. That’s the word from McDonald’s grandfather, former racer Norm McDonald, who is himself recovering from a broken shoulder suffered when he fell down while walking!
