Racers Edge Performance is proud to announce that Michelin will continue the XTRM contingency program for 2011. The popular XTRM same as cash, credit card style payout for WERA West will basically stay the same. The official announcement will come from Michelin in coming weeks on other race organizations as soon as they confirm up class structures and changes. Any Contingency earned by riders from the first WERA West round will be retroactive. Michelin offered almost $600,000 in XTRM contingency with WERA last year alone. Along with the contingency, Michelin will also be bringing in new and revised tires for 2011. Both the DOTs and 17-inch slicks will have updates and changes made to them. For more information on the contingency and race tires you can contact Dale Kieffer at 702-257-3808 or visit the Michelin/Racers Edge Performance tent at this weekend’s WERA West round in Las Vegas.
