Intermoto World Supersport team becomes ‘Step Racing Team’ with Crimea Grand Prix backing Crimea GP (Step Racing) has chosen the Intermoto World Supersport team as their promotional vehicle for their new Grand Prix facility. The Intermoto World Supersport team will now be known as Step Racing Team. Step Racing is the company behind the development of the new Crimean Grand Prix circuit in Crimea, Ukraine. Negotiations have started with Step Racing Team in order to bring a World Superbike event to Ukraine in the near future. “This is a really exciting prospect. Having a backer as enthusiastic as this means a great deal and the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit will be a fantastic facility.” Gino Rea commented. “The name of the team has changed, but I still have my same crew on my side of the garage, so for me I get to keep the consistency from 2010. Our potential is already much higher than last year so I want to bring the Step Racing Team strong results; the first race in Australia is just around the corner now. I’ve improved both physically and mentally so I can’t wait.” The presence of British World Supersport sensation Gino Rea and Russian Vladimir Ivanov in Step Racing Team’s World Supersport line-up this season adds extra value to the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit’s sponsorship of the team.
