FEW HARLEY-DAVIDSON XR1200 EXPERIENCES REMAIN The Racing for a Wish Team Announces 2013 Expansion The Racing for a Wish Team’s leased XR1200 rides in the AMA are almost all spoken for. The team has prepared a program to allow dedicated racers the opportunity to rub elbows with the nation’s best without the significant financial and time commitments that would be required to build their own programs. The equipment is identical to that with which Gerry “Sigs” Signorelli used to break into the top-five, battle for the podium and qualify fifth at the Indianapolis GP in 2012. Only one of three seats is still available at the Barber, Mid-Ohio, Miller, and Laguna Seca AMA Pro Road Racing rounds. The team may still be able to accommodate one or two riders at the New Jersey weekend. In addition to the exciting chance to race a Harley-Davidson, riders and sponsors can enjoy being involved in a charity driven team. Each rider will be mentored through their experience, produce exposure for their sponsors, gain valuable race knowledge, and have their reputation built through the team’s events and social media. All interested parties are encouraged to visit the team’s Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/racingforawish or email the team at [email protected] to learn more. The Racing for a Wish Team is also proud to announce it finalized plans for their full-time racer, Gerry “Sigs” Signorelli. The team is pleased to announce their official list of sponsors for 2013 as well. Although their former title sponsor fully dropped out of road racing, the team is gaining steam. Sigs will be campaigning a 2011 Triumph 675R in the AMA Supersport Series as well as a Liteville 301 in select Enduro MTB rounds around the United States. Signorelli’s debut bicycle race will be at the Big Mountain Enduro stop at Crested Butte, CO on June 30th. He will also enjoy races in Keystone, Winter Park, and Durango CO, with potential for stops in Oregon and British Columbia. A significant chunk of Gerry Signorelli’s training hours are spent pushing it on his MTB in the mountains of Colorado. His love for that sport and continued dedication to become one of the best in motorcycle road racer promises to produce exciting news throughout the 2013 season. Gerry Signorelli (Team Owner and Racer) – “This is really a rad thing we have going on. I frequently receive word from fans about how much they enjoy the close racing action that the XR’s provide.
