Cypress, CA Yamaha World road racing champions Kenny Roberts, Wayne Rainey and Eddie Lawson will join famed film maker Peter Starr for the launch of Starr’s new book “Taking It To The Limit 20 years of Making Motorcycle Movies” at the Laguna Seca MotoGP . This trio of America’s most admired racers will be available to sign Starr’s large format book at 1 p.m. Saturday July 21st, in the Yamaha Marketplace at the Mazda Raceway. “Taking It To The Limit 20 years of making Motorcycle Movies” is the behind the scenes stories of filming the greatest names in motorcycle racing history. In addition to Roberts, Rainey and Lawson the book documents Starr’s experience filming riders such as Steve Baker, Mike Hailwood, and many other legends. “Yamaha is very proud of its place in the rich history of motorcycle racing,” explains Bret Snider, Division Manager of Yamaha’s Customer Support Group. “The launch of this book is yet another way to allow Yamaha fans and all race fans to celebrate the sport and its legends.” A limited number of the books will be available for purchase at the Yamaha Marketplace signing. Accompanying the book is a DVD featuring high-lights from several of Starr’s award-winning films including his best known movie, “Take It to the Limit.”
