Patriot Racing is proud to announce that we will host a group of our combat wounded veterans at CCS / ASRA road-races held at Summit Point Motorsports Park during the 2009 season. On Sundays May 24, July 5 and August 30, we will host 25 combat wounded veterans from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. We are looking forward to the opportunity to welcome them to the races, feed them lunch, present them with items donated by some of our sponsors and together with CCS race staff, give them a behind-the-scenes look at motorcycle road racing. This effort integrates with our core program of raising donations for the Fisher House. The Fisher House is a charitable organization that provides free lodging for military families, enabling them to be with their loved-ones as they undergo treatment for their injuries. There are 43 Fisher Houses on military bases and VA medical centers around the world that provide military families with a “home away from home” and a measure of comfort in their most difficult of times. We believe that supporting the troops has to go beyond magnets on cars and ambiguous good intentions. Join us at Summit Point and honor their sacrifice. Visit www.patriotracing.us or email Steve Levow at [email protected] to find out how you can get involved and make a difference for the good of our military families. Stand with those who have stood for us. Patriot Racing is committed to making a difference in the lives of our military families and is joined by: RnR Cycles, Joe Rocket, Freestate Copier, Apex-Interactive, Pirelli, On the Throttle.tv, Road Race Prep, Studio Red, Scorpion, Woodcraft CFM, the Washington Capitals and we thank-you all for your continued support.
