Attack Kawasaki’s Steve Rapp is leading the Daytona 200 just past the halfway point, aboard a ZX-6R on Pirelli tires. Halfway: 1. Steve Rapp, Kawasaki, Pirelli, 35 laps 2. Chaz Davies, Yamaha, Dunlop, -10.481 seconds 3. Jason DiSalvo, Yamaha, Dunlop, -10.613 4. Ben Attard, Kawasaki, Pirelli, -14.458 5. Josh Hayes, Honda, Dunlop, -18.002 6. Michael Barnes, Suzuki, Pirelli, -18.089 Miguel Duhamel, Jake Zemke and Aaron Gobert are all out of the race, Duhamel and Zemke either running out of gas or suffering fuel pump problems before their first stops. All the factory Hondas were having problems with fuel pumps in practice.
