Dave Stanton to ride an RCR Performance (RickyCoreyRacing.com) prepped Yamaha YZF R1 in the 2013 AFM Formula Pacific Championship. RickyCoreyRacing.com (RCR Performance) is proud to be sponsoring Dave Stanton, former AFM #1 Plate holder and former AMA Pro road racer in the 2013 AFM Formula Pacific, Open Superbike and Open Grand Prix Championships. Current AFM #1 plate holder Ricky Corey with RCR Performance will be building Dave Stanton’s Yamaha R1 engines, and helping with engine management, suspension and chassis setup. Ricky Corey will also be racing alongside Dave in the Formula Pacific and Open Superbike Classes on his own RCR Performance-built Yamaha YZF-R1. “I’m extremely happy to have Dave onboard with us,” said RCR Performance owner Ricky Corey. “Dave is a very talented and experienced rider with a strong will to win. When I heard that he’s going to be riding the Yamaha YZF-R1 in 2013, we got together and figured out a plan to benefit us both. I will be building his engines and helping him get his Yamaha R1 up to par with my championship-winning RCR Performance-built Yamaha R1. It’s going to be fun and challenging helping Dave while also competing alongside him. We will be sharing data and further developing the bikes side-by-side, which I think we be a great advantage for both of us. With all of the other fast guys out there in the AFM, having Dave back up front with us should make for an entertaining race season”. RCR Performance is a performance race engine and race chassis shop specializing in Yamaha YZF-R6’s and YZF-R1’s and is a division of Ricky Corey Racing – ~http://www.rickycoreyracing.com~ RCR Performance works closely with Graves Motorsports and utilizes Graves exhaust systems among many other championship quality performance parts offered by Graves Motorsports. RCR Performance builds championship-winning engines from club-level racers to AMA Pro teams. RCR Performance “Engines Built to Win”
