According to Wasson, “We named him Stuart in memory of former teammate Stuart Stratton who died tragically at Daytona in October 2001. We want everybody who considered themselves a friend of Stuart Stratton to consider themselves a friend of Stuart Wasson. We look forward to getting little Stuart acquainted with all his new friends at Laguna Seca in July.”
