According to Lorenzo, he’s ready to defend his title. “Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is one of the most special tracks in the world,” Lorenzo says. “My first years of MotoGP at the raceway were difficult and I had some serious crashes. But, finally, last year I had my first victory on this great track. I am really looking forward to riding again in California and diving my Yamaha YZR-M1 into the Corkscrew.” Yamaha will celebrate its 50th anniversary in Grand Prix racing with special red and white livery.
