Sunday’s AMA SuperSport race at Road Atlanta was stopped twice. The first stoppage occurred on lap 11, when Sam Nash crashed at Turn 10 and needed medical assistance. After a short delay the race was restarted based on the lap 10 running order, but it ran for less than two laps before it was stopped again due to oil leaked onto the track from James Delllinger’s Suzuki. Due to the extent of the oil cleanup, the race was called complete, and results were determined based on the lap 11 running order. Rockwall Performance Yamaha’s J.D. Beach was awarded his second win of the weekend over LTD Racing’s Huntley Nash and Beach’s teammate Cameron Beaubier.
