Red flag Fund Auction will go on as planned despite change to CCS schedule Waterford, WI – Just to confirm to those planning to attend, the annual Red Flag Fund auction will be held on August 21st, 2010 and will start at 7PM as scheduled. Even though the CCS Midwest round at Blackhawk Farms Raceway has been condensed into a one day event on Sunday, auction events will happen after the test and tune day hosted by BHF has concluded Saturday. Please stop by the Red Flag Fund located in the pavilion. We will be there during the day so you may drop off items for the auction, purchase meal tickets, door prize tickets and register for your bidding number. “We encourage everyone to come out and support the Red Flag Fund on Aug 21st. We have already received some great items that will be up for bid. Of course food and beer make it a party for a great cause”, commented Brian McLaughlin, president of the RFF. “The auction is our main source of fund raising at this time, so we ask that you plan to attend.” If you would like to donate an item for auction, please contact the Red Flag Fund by emailing us at [email protected]. You can visit the www.redflagfund.org for more information on the fund. The Red Flag Fund is dedicated to helping seriously injured road racers. By raising money through apparel sales, auctions and other events, we are able to bridge financial gaps not covered by insurance after a rider crashes. None of this would be possible without the help of the race community. We thank you for supporting our cause. The Red Flag Fund is a 501(c)(3) Federally exempt non-profit charity.
