Sussex, WI (December 4, 2008) – Progress is being made in finding a new manager/operator and developing a succession plan for Red Flag Fund charity operations. Founder and President Jeff Kufalk, along with co-founder and Secretary/Treasurer Jen Kufalk, will resign their positions with the Red Flag Fund at the end of 2008 to focus on personal and family commitments. “I’d like to thank everyone for their support through our time of transition. We have received a lot of interest from people looking to help the fund, and have been diligently reviewing candidates to ensure we have the right person for this job. We look forward to announcing our new leader later this month, and we’re confident the racing community will be pleased with our decision,” said Red Flag Fund President Jeff Kufalk. The Red Flag Fund board of directors has been in positive discussions with former AMA Pro Racing and Suzuki Racing manager Morgan Broadhead and others about taking on Red Flag Fund operations. A board vote to determine the new Red Flag Fund manager/operator will be held before end of December. Red Flag Fund, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable company formed to provide financial assistance to seriously injured motorcycle road racers, as well as educate motorcycle riders on the importance of proper safety gear.
