With so much interest created since the announcement of the new youth development motorcycle roadrace series the Replicast Challenge, featuring the 2009 Aprilia RS 125 a new event has been added to the series titled the Replicast Team Racing Challenge, to be run in conjunction with the Replicast Challenge series. While the Replicast Challenge will be limited to young riders aged 12-19, the Replicast Team Racing Challenge allows riders over the age of 20 to race the same Aprilia RS 125 ridden in the Replicast Challenge on the same day, and the combined points from the two races will determine a Team Challenge Champion at the end of the 2009 season. Now fathers can ride with sons and daughters on the same machine, mentors or mechanics can experience the thrill of roadracing competition, or other riders that are interested in trying the new Aprilia RS 125 can compete in a cost controlled environment. The purpose of the Replicast Team Racing Challenge is to help the young riders in the Replicast Challenge learn the importance of teamwork and communication in bike setup and racing skills, which will ultimately help speed up the development of the young riders. The Replicast Team Racing Challenge also helps spread the cost of a racing weekend over another event, and allows older riders to take the race to the track instead of bench racing online. About the Replicast Challenge Series The mission of the Replicast Challenge is to provide young riders that lack sufficient resources or options an opportunity to develop their skills in motorcycle roadracing by creating a series that will channel them towards advanced motorsports careers. By creating a cost-controlled youth development series, the Replicast Challenge will minimize expenses while maximizing growth in riders and the motorcycle roadracing industry. This youth development series is also designed to maximize the fun factor for families that want to experience the thrills of motorcycle roadracing competition while improving rider confidence and skills. The select motorcycle for the Replicast Challenge is the 2009 Aprilia RS 125 repli-racer which delivers excellent performance and value for young riders that won’t break the bank.
