Report: Norick Abe Killed In Streetbike Crash

An article appearing on the online version of the International Herald Tribune and attributed to the Associated Press is reporting that former MotoGP star and current All-Japan Superbike Championship racer Norick Abe was killed in a streetbike crash Sunday in Kawasaki, Japan. According to the report, Abe was riding on a four-lane road when a truck made an illegal U-turn into his path. Abe was 32.
