Pro flat tracker racer and one-time Texas Tornado Boot Camp instructor Merle Wayne Scherb, age 28, of Rhome, Texas, was arrested by Montgomery County (Texas) law enforcement officials March 20 and charged with three counts of promotion of child pornography, according to a report posted on www.MontgomeryCountyPoliceReporter.com .

Scherb is a professional dirt track racer (AMA Pro #78) who finished third in the Open Category final of the Superprestigo dirt track event January 11, in Spain. 

Scherb also was one of the original instructors at the Texas Tornado Boot Camp, located in Montgomery County, Texas, but he is no longer listed as an instructor on the Texas Tornado Boot Camp website.
