From a press release issued by Richie Morris Racing: Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson Buell and Richie Morris Racing officially announced today their plans for the 2008 SunTrust MOTO-ST series. The team will field a Buell 1125R in the SST class. The pilots will be Shawn Higbee and Dan Bilansky. Both riders were with RMR last season and finished a strong second in the GST series championship…winning three of six races. A second team will run the GST class again this season on a Buell XB12R. The riders will be Clint Brotz with the second yet to be named. “I can’t tell you how pleased this makes me. Bruce and I have been together since 1994 and this year promises to be our best. He is currently working with two potential sponsors that are outside the industry…so that would be great for our sport overall! We are both equally excited about the performance of the new 1125R. At our recent tests…the bike has performed flawlessly!” stated Morris.
