Rickdiculous Racing Motorcycle Skills Training Day
Rickdiculous Racing is excited to announce the first ever RICK SKILLS DAY September 21 at Miller Motorsports Park!! The RICK Skills Training days are designed to enable any rider on any type of bike the techniques to control and understand riding their bike better. From Scooters, Sport Touring bikes, Adventure bikes and Cruisers, come join the RICK crew with their proven world class instructors at Miller Motorsports Park. This 6 hour class will provide real world techniques and drills to help you be a safer and more adjustable motorcycle rider. We will be on the EAST track at Miller Motorsports Park where we will be able to use the track to recreate real life scenarios that are frequently encountered on the road.
We recommend bringing your own bike, but Rickdiculous Racing does have a limited rental fleet that will be available on a first come first serve basis. Please email us if this is something you are interested in.
The day will start at 9am and run until 3:30 with snacks, drinks and lunch provided. The course will held on the EAST track at Miller Motorsports Park and will cover:
Motor Controls – Initial, Trail and End of Braking, Initial Throttle Control
Eyes/Focus – How to use your eyes and to be able to focus on a plan for your riding.
Braking – How to use your brakes and when to use them to adjust for different turns and road conditions.
Throttle Control – Initial throttle control.
Proper Lines – How to know where to enter and exit a corner
Body Positioning – Be in a position to be able to take away lean angle whenever you need to.
Requirements for Bike and Safety Gear:
Bike: Lights taped off, mirrors taped off, coolant flushed.
Gear: Minimum textile jacket and pants, (2 pairs of jeans is acceptable) over the ankle boots and leather gloves, full face helmet.
