A.C. Humble Sr., 80, a former AMA National race winner, a long-time CMRA race official and financial backer, and the father of AMA National race winner Hugh Humble, died May 28. Humble Sr., who lived in Magnolia, Texas, is survived by his son (and former CMRA and WERA racer) Russell T. Humble; his brother William H. Humble and wife Jean; and his grandson Colton T. Humble. He was preceded in death by wife Patricia B. Humble; son Hugh Humble, who died in an infamous racing crash during an AMA National weekend at Brainerd International Raceway in 1983; and by son A.C. Humble, Jr., also an AMA National race winner, who died in a traffic accident. Services were held June 7th in San Antonio, Texas.
