R.I.P. AFM Racer Frank Mazur

Francis “Frank” Mazur, a former overall AFM Champion, died Tuesday, October 20th, apparently from a heart attack. He was 55 years old. Mazur, who lived in Fremont, California, raced RD-series Yamahas, GPz Kawasakis and later the Kawasaki Ninja 250R. He competed for decades with the club, taking the overall title and winning several class Championships during his career. Services for Mazur are scheduled for Monday, October 26, at 4:00 p.m. at the Berge-Pappas-Smith Funeral Home, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538.
