R.I.P. Famed Dirt Track And Road Race Tuner Donald E. “Skip” Eaken

Famed dirt track and road race tuner Donald E. “Skip” Eaken, 68, died September 24, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Eaken worked with Bubba Shobert during his AMA Grand National Flat Track Championships and his 1988 AMA Pro Superbike Championship season. Eaken also worked with Larry Pegram in AMA Pro Flat Track and Superbike action. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 27 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. local time at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the same location Friday, September 28, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place Hillside Cemetery in Mantua Village, Ohio.
