R.I.P. Former AFM Racer, Tuner, Official Larry Shultz

Larry Shultz, 60, of Fremont, California, passed away from pancreatic cancer June 28, according to friend John Figas. “Larry raced dirt track and was [an] AFM class Champion,” Figas wrote in an e-mail to Roadracingworld.com. “He worked closely with Erv Kanamoto wrenching for Scott Brelsford, Gary Nixon, Niall Mackenzie and Wayne Gardner. He was also [an] AMA tech inspector in the mid-90s.”
