Former racer Rick Kovacs died January 17th in Southern California. He was 60 years old.

Kovacs expanded his family packaging business by establishing South Bay Label, which made stickers for Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. and other businesses.

A service has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31st at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, with a reception held afterwards at the San Pedro Elks Lodge.
