Clement Edwards ‘Buzz” Pritz, a former racer and former co-owner of WERA Motorcycle Roadracing, Inc., suffered a stroke and died March 27 in El Paso, Texas, according to his ex-wife and former business partner Evelyne Clarke. He was 67.

Pritz co-owned WERA with Clarke and Patty Frank from 1984 until 1994, when Pritz and Clarke bought out Frank. Clarke and Pritz divorced in 1989, but they continued as co-owners of WERA with Clarke running the organization. Clarke then bought out Pritz in 2000, and she continues to run the organization with her current husband Sean Clarke.

Memorial services are pending.
