R.I.P. Former WERA Racer Gary Walker

Former WERA racer Gary Walker died suddenly at home on May 26th from massive heart failure. He was 59. Gary raced in the WERA National Endurance Series in the early 80’s with Goon Squad Racing. An avid motorcyclist, Gary also worked as Crew Chief for Mad Kaw Racing in WERA Endurance in 2005, and as Crew Chief for Team Motorrad in the MOTO-ST series for the 2006-2007 seasons. Private services were held by his family on Sunday May 30th. A special life celebration for friends and family is being planned to coincide with Gary’s birthday on June 18th, most likely the celebration will take place on the 19th , and plans are now being arranged.
