R.I.P. MRO Founder Max Helton

From a press release issued by MRO Chaplain Tim Burleson: Max Helton, founder of Motor Racing Outreach, passed away Sunday March 30 after a seven month struggle with cancer. He was 67. Max founded the ministry that has become MRO at the request of NASCAR drivers Darrell Waltrip, Lake Speed and Bobby Hillin. MRO currently serves the motorcycle roadracing community, providing a chaplain for the AMA Superbike Series, the WERA national Series and the ASRA National Series.
