Richard Ting, age 93, died Saturday in Palo Alto, California. He was the father of Dr. Arthur Ting, who for decades has been the orthopedic surgeon of choice for many professional motorcycle racers. Richard Ting is survived by his wife, Lydia; a son, Arthur; a daughter, Elain; and grandchildren Bobby, Rich, Brandon and Ryan Ting. Memorial services are pending.
