Two-time AMA Pro SuperSport National Champion James Rispoli will race a Swan Yamaha YZF-R6 in the 2012 season finale of the British 600ccc Superstock National Championship October 12-14 at Brands Hatch, according to a posting on the official website of Swan Yamaha.

“I am so excited to have an opportunity to race the last round at Brands Hatch this weekend,” Rispoli was quoted as saying in the posting at www.swanyamaha.co.uk. “I can’t thank my personal sponsor Monster Energy enough for putting this together, as well as the Swan Yamaha team for going out of their way at the last minute to prepare a bike, track day and support me for the weekend. This is a real bonus at the end of a great season I had in the USA, and [I] look forward to learning the new bike, tracks and team with no pressure other than to have fun.”

Rispoli will get a 30-minute free practice and a 25-minute provisional qualifying session on Friday, October 12, a 35-minute final qualifying session on Saturday, October 13, and then an eight-minute warm-up on Sunday, October 14, to learn the undulating Brands Hatch circuit and his new YZF-R6 prior to the 14-lap race on Sunday afternoon.
