TEAM ROADRACE FACTORY RED BULL OFFERS RIDE TO CAMERON GISH IN 2014 AMA PRO ROAD RACING SERIES

Gifted Young Rider Seeks Support in Bid to Win AMA SuperSport Championship

Shingle Springs, CA – Cameron Gish, a former Red Bull Rookies Cup competitor and 2013 AFM three-class champion, has been offered a ride on the RoadRace Factory Red Bull team in this year’s AMA Pro Road Racing Series when the season kicks off on March 13th in Daytona, Florida.

Cameron is seeking personal sponsorship to participate in the AMA Pro SuperSport class on a RoadRace Factory Red Bull YZF-R6 and is thrilled at the opportunity to help owner Danny Walker defend his team’s 2013 AMA SuperSport Championship.

“I am so thankful for the opportunity to ride with one of the best teams in the country,” said the up-and-coming young rider. “I think the opportunity is a testament to how much I learned and improved last season racing with the AFM. I have been working really hard to take advantage of an opportunity like this. My goal is to win races and fight for the championship, and I really would have a fun time working towards those goals with the whole RoadRace Factory Red Bull team.”

“You know, having Cam ride for RRF is a natural step for both us and him,” said Walker. “Cam was one of the original Red Bull Rookies Cup riders back in 2008. He has worked his butt off to continue to improve both his riding and total presentation. Motivating him to go fast will not be the issue as we have worked with him to instill the needed patience and understanding of when and how to go fast and stay there. We really hope he can put a little support together so we can get him on a competitive bike and see how far he can take it.”
