Rockstar Makita Suzuki is testing today at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Six-time AMA Superbike Champion Mat Mladin, two-time AMA Supersport Champion Tommy Hayden and new team member Blake Young are testing 2009-model GSX-R1000s in preparation for an assault on the AMA American Superbike Championship. According to team personnel, no other teams are expected to ride Monday, but several of the other factory AMA road race teams will join Rockstar Makita Suzuki on Tuesday and Wednesday.
