Round 3 of Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association racing is just around the corner. The third round of CVMA’s winter series continues November 16-17 with two more action packed days of motorcycle road racing at one of Southern California’s premiere road racing courses. CVMA already has stellar status among racers, and now we’re developing a reputation as a fun, family-friendly organization as well. The October round saw a fantastic Halloween party with a costume contest, music, and an expansive cupcake selection, and for the November event the club will host a screening of the thrilling race documentary, Road Warriors 2012. Eat dinner early and bring your folding chairs and drink of choice on over to the big top at 7pm on Saturday, November 16th for a showing of Road Warriors 2012, a documentary following AMA Pro road racers Elena Myers, Danny Eslick, Roger Hayden, Josh Hayes, and the CVMA’s own Melissa Paris as they compete in the 2012 AMA Pro road racing series. It’s an exciting film that’s sure to get everyone amped for Sunday’s races! Racers eager to expose their significant others to the fun and excitement of racing are encouraged to invite friends, family, and coworkers to this special race weekend, to be held on November 16 and 17. As always, CVMA will host a full day of racing on both Saturday and Sunday, providing plenty of race actions for competitors and spectators alike. If you haven’t made it out to race with CVMA yet, now is your chance. CVMA offers free reciprocity licenses to other road racing club members. Sept 27-29 Oct 18-19 Nov 15-16 Chuckwalla Valley Raceway is a 17-turn 2.68 mile circuit is California’s newest track located about 40 miles south of Palm Springs. The smooth wide circuit plays host to a variety of turns and has ample run-off for increased safety. Additionally, CVMA keeps two ambulances on site to ensure everyone’s well being to help avoid delays in the race when a rider needs medical attention. CVMA. It’s club racing done right.
