RS Taichi To Debut Air Bag-Equipped Leathers During Malaysian Grand Prix

RS TAICHI will debut a TECH AIR airbag system from Alpinestars equipped racing suit at Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix as first manufacture other than Alpinestars to adapt this system.

Moto 2 rider Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) and Moto3 rider Khairul Idham Pawi (Honda Team Asia) will start using Alpinestars’ TECH AIR airbag system equipped racing suit from Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix(Oct. 29 – 30). RS TAICHI is the first manufacture other than Alpinestars to adapt the TECH AIR system to the racing suit.

As the racing machine’s performance getting higher, road racing has also become faster and faster. RS TAICHI has always been thinking of bringing the safety level of riders higher and we have decided to adapt Alpinestars’ TECH AIR airbag system which has been proven as a very reliable system in the Moto GP and other world class championship. We have started developing from professional riders but this development is for delivering the product to normal consumers for higher safety. Please stay tuned!

Kousuke Akiyoshi (au&Teluru·Kohara RT) will also debut a TECH AIR airbag system equipped racing suit at the final round of All Japan Road Race at Suzuka from Nov. 4 to 6th.
