Dominguez to race Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 in Daytona SportBike for remainder of 2013
Banks, OR – 9/11/13 – After finishing his season best in AMA Pro Racing SuperBike at Miller Motorsports Park, Dustin Dominguez will take what he has learned on the EBR 1190RS SuperBike to the highly competitive Daytona SportBike class for the remaining two rounds of the 2013 season.
Team owner Ronnie Saner said “Dustin feels he is better suited on a middleweight bike where he had the most success in his professional career and almost winning the 2012 AMA SuperSport Championship. He will be much more comfortable in DSB and be able to perform his best. With limited support from the Kawasaki Team Green program, we have what we need to start the development of this new program. Dominguez will compete on the all new, 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 for the balance of 2013 in preparation for the complete 2014 season in Daytona SportBike.
“I look forward to leading the return to professional racing on Kawasaki green for all the devoted fans out there that have always pulled for Team Green. I’m thrilled to be on this new Ninja sport bike,” said Dominguez.
Ronnie Saner added, “Kawasaki is a premium brand and was the first authentic sport bike brought to market. We think it is a great platform to go racing with and look forward to its development and progress over the coming months. 2014 is going to be an interesting season and we can’t wait for the season opener at Daytona on this bike.”
Jarrod Rogers, Director of Marketing for Motosport.com thinks it is a great move. “We like what we have seen with RSRacecraft so far and believe that this is the next step in a long term relationship. The entire crew at RSRacecraft is professional and very committed to giving 100% at all times while providing our company with high visibility and brand awareness”.
“It shows RSRacecraft’s belief in the potential of both the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 and our strong Team Green grass roots program that they have chosen to run the legendary Ninja brand in the highest level of AMA racing,” stated Jeff Herzog Senior PR Coordinator. “It will be very interesting to see what the Ninja ZX-6R 636 can accomplish in the capable hands of RSRacecraft”.

Richmond, Calif. – September 11, 2013 – When RSRacecraft returns to Daytona Sportbike competition during this weekend’s AMA Pro Road Racing round at New Jersey Motorsports Park, it will be with a LeoVince USA-sponsored Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636. The new RSRacecraft entry will feature a LeoVince exhaust and carbon fiber components.
Dustin Dominguez will pilot the LeoVince-equipped RSRacecraft 636 at New Jersey. It is the first step to a bigger partnership between LeoVince USA and RSRacecraft as the team looks ahead to winter testing and beyond.
RSRacecraft team owner Ronnie Saner says, “LeoVince has always had a strong presence in roadracing and they are a competitive brand, so it’s a natural fit for us: we’re a team that wants to win races, and they’re a manufacturer that wants to do the same. It was natural to gravitate toward each other, and it’s a good fit. We’re excited to partner with them.”
The LeoVince exhaust and carbon fiber components were developed in partnership with Kawasaki Japan race teams and Kawasaki’s World Super Sport program. Now, that technology is making its Daytona Sportbike debut on the RSRacecraft Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636.
“Globally LeoVince has been the leader in Kawasaki racing for the last five years,” says Tim Calhoun, Executive Vice President of LeoVince USA. “This relationship has allowed us to build some of the best carbon fiber and exhaust products in the world. RSRacecraft has proven their ability to win on the racetrack, and they engineer exceptional motorcycles. We look forward to starting this new project with Ronnie and his crew, and to our future success together.”
