Johann Zarco, 55 More, from a press release issued by Interwetten Honda: Three more points for Schrötter in Brno It was not an easy weekend here on the Autodromo Brno at the Grand Prix Ceské republiky for Marcel Schrötter and the Interwetten Honda 125 Team. How much the 17 year old Bavarian wanted to change this you could see in today’s race on the track and his fight was recompensed with a 13th place and three important championship points that Schrötter will take home. Schrötter is happy that he didn’t crash during the race as he was sliding a lot. The next race takes place in Indianapolis in the USA and again it is a racetrack which the German doesn’t know and where he has to start from Zero. Marcel Schrötter, 13 – 43’50.657: “All in all I am quite satisfied and I was able to gain some points. At the beginning it went very well and I had a great feeling with the bike. I was able to catch up some places. Unfortunately I had to brake because of a cra sh in front of me and I had to fight to close the gap. Then I could stay with the group, but the riders behind me came closer and closer and I could not ride with them anymore. I am quite fast in the corners, but on the straight I have no chance. At the end I started sliding around a lot and I was lucky that I didn’t crash. Apart from that it was a good race.” Terrell Thien, Team Manager: “It looked not too bad this time in the race. We were able to get some points and Marcel won the fight against Rossi in the last lap, which showed that he can do it if he wants. Step by step we come closer to our target, but we are not there yet.”
