The Motorcycle Roadracing Association will be hosting its 2nd annual 4 Hour Endurance Race sponsored by Imperial Sportbikes and ABATE of Colorado on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at High Plains Raceway. Last year’s inaugural event had 28 teams and 27 solo riders from the MRA and numerous clubs outside of Colorado grid up for 4 hours of action packed racing. The 4 Hour Endurance Race is open to both teams and solo riders. Teams can consist of up to 4 members and each member can ride their own motorcycle. Solo riders compete alone in the event and must use one motorcycle. All motorcycles must pass MRA technical inspection. Engine and frame configuration is unlimited. Cost per rider for the event is $75. Riders having a license from another recognized racing organization are welcome to race on a reciprocity license with us for this event. This is 60 miles (and less than one hour) east of the I-25 & I-70 interchange, known locally as the Mousetrap. At Byers, exit I-70 (which bends to the south towards Limon) taking Highway 36 due east 17 miles. The track is on your left, with the entrance at the easternmost side of the property.
