The second day of a three-day Dunlop tire test at Daytona International Speedway has been rained out. A light yet persistent rain was falling when teams arrived at the track early Sunday and continued all morning. No riders made any laps. With no end to the rain in sight and ambient temperatures struggling to reach 60° F, making any possibility of the track drying look slim, Dunlop officials called the day rained out shortly after noon local time. As the paddock cleared at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, there was no plan to add a fourth day to the test, Tuesday, according to Dunlop. One local weather forecast calls for clear skies Monday with a high temperature of approximately 63° F.
