Several Interesting Machines Slated To Appear At Historic Moto Gran Prix Sept. 17-19

YAMAHA HARRIS 500 GP BIKE TO ATTEND HMGP EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 17- 19, 2010 Veteran motorcycle racer, John Conklin with his collection of beautiful TZ750’s and his recently accquired very rare and very rapid Harris Yamaha 500 GP bike will be attending with these classics on display. Bob Steinbugler will have several GP Bimota motorcycles from his outstanding collection available for viewing. HOUR GLASS RACING will have a Handshift Indian, a CR750 Honda and one of the most beautiful mototcycles in the world, a KR750 Harley Davidson available. Mike Hodgson will join us with his Honda CB750 which took third place in Heavy Weight Superbike and a third place overall in Formula Vintage during the 2009 AHRMA Vintage Roadracing season series. Mike is currently working with Chris Birkle of Racing Sport Services (770-592-9228) to complete a beautiful Rickman Honda in time for this event. Ray and Mary Haas will have their unbelievable pair of Yamaha R7’s, as well as a Nori Haga and Scott Russell’s replica YZF look alike bike racing and on display. Jonathan Vershure, Custom Café (770-895-3336) will have his award winning classic Honda CB400 Four on display. HMGP welcomes owners of historic, vintage, collectible or former factory race bikes, who would like to bring their bikes back out to show or to race on-track. The race format for all competition will be gentleman’s racing, in four classes and grouped largely by production era. Special hospitality is available to all participants at no cost during each event and is included with an HMGP membership. Interested parties who are owners of classic or vintage bikes are encouraged to join HMGP and show and/or race their vintage bikes at future events. All machines must meet certain criteria to qualify for race and show competitions. All racing organizations are welcomed and invited to join us at our wonderful events. October 29-31, 2010 HMGP will feature a special event and vintage bike show in conjunction with HSR, sponsored by the City of Savannah at Hutchinson Island.
