Racer Geoff May underwent surgery last week to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Orthopedic surgeon Thomas P. Branch performed the arthroscopic surgery at an outpatient surgery center in the Atlanta area on Wednesday, October 3. May had his stitches removed yesterday. May hopes to finish rehab and to be ready to ride in time for tire tests at Daytona, scheduled for the first week of December. May was injured in a crash during the Supersport race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca September 16.
