This off-season we’re running a series showing your motorcycles. Not just your road racing bikes, but your streetbikes, motocross bikes, dirt bikes, pit bikes, mini bikes, trials bikes, land-speed bikes, drag bikes, speedway bikes, whatever you’ve got. If you have more than one bike, send photos of them all–alone or with you! Send in-focus bike photos (as jpeg files) along with the make, model and year of each bike and your name, city and state, plus the name of the photographer, to [email protected]. By sending us the photos, you are certifying that you own the rights to the photos and are giving us permission to feature them on roadracingworld.com. They may be posted on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.
Seen here in our 11th installment are photos sent in by Dustin Coyner, age 39, of Palmdale, California. Included are photos of his 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6, his 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 and his Colnago bicycle, which he uses for training. “I also thought including my bicycle in there would be appropriate since that thing gets ridden more than the motorbikes,” wrote Coyner, who sometimes refers to himself as being a “track pimp” (his twitter account is http://twitter.com/trackpimp) and works hard to convince riders to do their speeding on racetracks, not public roads.
In his rider profile on roadracingworld.com, Coyner describes himself as “Owner of Yamaha-supported track-day organization TrackDaz. I’m an active racer, and have been so since 1999. Ride at the track (including races) approximately 50 events per year, sometimes more. I’m the Rider Representative for the Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association (CVMA). An avid motorcycle racing enthusiast.”
