This off-season we’re running a series showing your motorcycles. Not just your road racing bikes, but your streetbikes, motocross bikes, dirt bikes, pit bikes, mini bikes, trials bikes, land-speed bikes, drag bikes, speedway bikes, whatever you’ve got. If you have more than one bike, send photos of them all–alone or with you! Send in-focus bike photos (as jpeg files) along with the make, model and year of each bike and your name, age, racing or track-day organization (if applicable), city and state, plus the name of the photographer, to [email protected]. By sending us the photos, you are certifying that you own the rights to the photos and are giving us permission to feature them on roadracingworld.com. They may be posted on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.
Seen here in our 37th installment are photos sent in by racer Carl Soltisz, age 24, from West Bloomfield, Michigan, who writes, “I would like to submit the attached photos of my motorcycles for your ‘Show Us Your Rides’ segment. The bikes are listed below with some information on them:
“2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 Supersport Racebike: My main racebike. Used to race in AMA Pro Supersport, CCS/ASRA and WERA. I’ve won numerous CCS/ASRA and WERA races with it. I also got a best finish of 8th place in AMA Pro Supersport with it at Mid Ohio last year. TSE-tuned Penske suspension with MD Racing-built motor.
“2009 Yamaha YZ450F SuperMotard Bike: Just road raced this bike for the first time last year. It won the first and only race it has ever been in, CCS Expert GTUL.
“1989 Yamaha YSR50 Mini Road Racebike: R7 replica bodywork with Red Bull paint scheme. Loaded with tons of Team Calamari performance parts.”
Carl Soltisz calls his program “Super C Racing” and his nickname is “Super Carl.” In 2014 he competed in AMA Pro, CCS, ASRA, WERA and OMRL events, and he ice-races in the winter in addition to road racing the rest of the year.
