Show Us Your Rides, Part 41: Dennis Espinosa

© 2015, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc.

This off-season we’re running a series showing your motorcycles, starting with your racebike or track-day bike. But not just your road racing or track-day bike, but also your streetbike, motocross bike, dirt bike, pit bike, mini bike, trials bike, land-speed bike, drag bike, speedway bike, whatever you’ve got. If you have more than one bike, send photos of them all–alone or with you! Include your city, state and a few facts about what you do. Send in-focus bike photos (as jpeg files) along with the make, model and year of each bike and your name, age, racing or track-day organization (if applicable), city and state, plus the name of the photographer, to [email protected]. By sending us the photos, you are certifying that you own the rights to the photos and are giving us permission to feature them on roadracingworld.com. They may be posted on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.

Many more riders have sent in photos and info than we anticipated, and to deal with the flood of applications, we’re giving preference to people who have set up a rider profile on roadracingworld.com, here: https://www.roadracingworld.com/signup/

Seen here in our 41st installment are photos sent in by racer Dennis Espinosa, age 50, of Sussex, New Jersey, owner of a now-inactive AMA Pro team, MOB Racing. Espinosa writes, “How are you guys? Miss seeing all the racing crowd but I still have a bad sickness with my bike obsession! Here is my current collection:

“My own 2010 Harley-Davidson XR1200X from the last race I entered at NJMP; 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 endurance race bike, only beaten twice in over 12 events entered, including the entire now-defunct CCS Atlantic Endurance Series at NJMP, making 192 horsepower on pump gas with Ohlins suspension, a custom 6.6-gallon dual-feed aluminum endurance tank and more; 2008 Ducati 1098S, a multi-time Championship-winning bike; 2012 Yamaha YZF-R6 ‘B’ bike to the Daytona 200-winning bike ridden by Joey Pascarella in 2012, then ridden by PJ Jacobsen, Shane Narbonne, Stefano Mesa–and I may have spun a few laps on her, too; 1977 Honda XR75 ‘rider bike,’ gets beat on in the yard and annually at the Anthony Fania MX Mountain 50 Fest; 1977 Honda XR75 ‘collector bike,’ took me three years to get it right and this will be my son’s first bike, as it was my first bike; 1976 Honda XL440 Bill Bell Original Baja racebike, bought it in California with ALL the original dealership paperwork, completely restored and runs great; 2003 Harley-Davidson Anniversary Edition Get In Gear Custom Touring bike–don’t even want to think about this build, I went overboard, IPad dash, PM wheels, brakes, 1500cc motor and more; 2014 Harley-Davidson Rushmore Edition touring bike with my wife Lauren on board, who just had our fifth child on December 21st, 2014, Paige Michelle Espinosa, making it four girls, one boy, we’re outnumbered in this house; 2012 KTM 350EXC-F, the best off-road bike I’ve ever owned, hands down, with tuned suspension, FMF pipe, tall seat, bar risers, Rekluse clutch, Decal Works Graphics and more; 2004 and 2006 Honda CRF150F Supermoto Mini-Endurance racers–so much fun racing these things with NJminiGP.com and the guys at the F150 OVRP series run by World Supersport Racer PJ Jacobsen and Bob Weiss. And finally, my latest addition, a 2014 Ducati Multistrada Grandtourismo currently getting a custom ‘Hudson Valley Motorcycle’ look! Richie Alexander and his team build some beautiful bikes up there, can’t wait to pick it up and start on another Adventure! I wish I had time to ride them all at once. Each bike has either some sentimental value from my youth or racing days, and some are just incredible to ride! Great series of stories guys, hope to see you soon at the track.”
