Six riders have taken to the course for the first Superbike heat race at Mid-Ohio. Riders who are gridding up include Scott Carpenter, Taylor Knapp, James Kerker, Matt McBride. Brian Stokes and Ben Thompson. Riders who did not grid up include Ben Spies, Miguel Duhamel, Mat Mladin, Jake Holden, Roger Hayden, Steve Rapp, Marty Craggill, Chris Ulrich, John Haner, Cory West and Dean Mizdal.
