Atlanta, GA – Ducshop NCR Racing will make its debut this weekend at WERA’s Heavy Weight Twins Superbike race at Barber Motorsports Park with rider Mike Smith aboard their hand built NCR Millona R. Though the 298lb Ducati powered Millona arrives track-ready from the factory, Ducshop Performance Center will use this season to develop the bike by perfecting its Ohlins suspension and using the Ducati 1000DS engine to develop a Ducshop line of performance pistons. Mike Smith was chosen to develop the bike because of his wealth of experience and Ducshop hopes this will translate into some good results throughout the season. This will be the second season Mike Smith has raced a Ducshop prepared bike. The duo won five of the seven races they entered in the 2000 AMA Pro Thunder championship on a Ducati 748.
