Track days are open to all motorcyclists (first-time track riders and experts). Track day riding requires minimal bike prep, so come out to improve your riding skills in a controlled environment and have a great time doing it. A free track orientation school is offered for all those at each track day.
On-site tire and trackside support will be available by Speedin’ Motorsports for those who need some new rubber or just need tire pressure recommendations. Leather rentals are available on a first come, first served basis and on-site tech inspection will make sure everyone is properly equipped to safely have fun.
About SMRI:
The goal of the SMRI (AMA-sanctioned) is to offer fast-paced action & excitement for spectators, great competition & purses for racers, and high performance motorcycle excitement for everyone. The SMRI is the only organizer of track days, rider schools (both basic skills & racer licensing), along with a road racing series in Northern New Mexico.
SMRI is a family-oriented club racing organization with its home track at Motiva Speedway, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Motiva track is a modern facility with concession stand, fully equipped restrooms, full-access pit area, and grandstands that offer a spectacular vantage point of the on-track action.
