Smrz Reaches Tentative Agreement To Race Scuderia SC Caracchi Ducati In 2007 Superbike World Championship

JAKUB SMRZ JOINS THE TEAM SC FOR 2007 SEASON (Bologna 2007, January 29) Jakub Smrz, 24, Czech rider from Jilovice, protagonist of World 250 GP in the past seasons, and Stefano Caracchi, team owner and manager of Scuderia SC Caracchi, found a basic overall agreement for next 2007 sporting season. Smrz will contest the 2007 World Superbike Championship on a 999F05 Ducati, starting from the first round in Qatar. The two partners found a first agreement during the last week meeting held in Bologna. They remain to define some small particulars and to sign the contract.
