The South African Motorcycle Academy has been formed to groom our young talent aged 8-13 for a career in motorcycle racing. The youngsters will compete in the 2010 Honda NSF 100 Junior Trophy on bikes provided by Honda South Africa. The academy is a development project and many of the entrants will be from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and will be able to compete thanks to bursaries provided by sponsors. The aim of the academy is to have a South African rider competing in 125 GP or Moto2 within five years.
