Other Americans competing at Valencia:

Jayson Uribe was 15th and battling for 13th halfway through the Moto2 race when he crashed his AGR Motorsports Speed Up. Uribe walked away from the fifth gear lowside.

Melissa Paris was turning her best lap times of the weekend early in the 600cc Superstock race when she washed out the front end of her Team Stratos Kawasaki ZX-6R. Paris was uninjured in her crash.
